ReD RuM
Watching the Shining on A&E and got jumped by a stray/wild rottweiler during the barn check. My Belgian Malinois, Renegade, opened a can of whoop-ass on the mutt. *snarks*

I have never seen the Shining before now. I thought it was pretty good and might try the book.

Well....I'm tired. Time to sleep.

The Stand... married that one, too. :D

I've only read that one 8 times (at least).

Sad, I know.

Hearts in Atlantis and Bag of Bones are EXCELLENT. So is Dreamcatcher, although the movie sucked ass.

I'm going to have to say the vast majority of Stephen King's movies suck arse....save the Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption, and the Shining. Even the Stand mini-series was cheesy. *sigh*...and Misery. I didn't care for the one with Wil Wheaton....Stand by Me? Welsey Crusher always creeped me out......couldn't get past that so that movie really didn't get a good chance with me.

I saw a movie called Rose Red on SciFi a couple weekends back....what a waste of a afternoon. He should have wrote a novel for it.

The movie based on one of the stories in Hearts in Atlantis was very good, I thought. (Sir Anthony Hopkins... and I always had a soft spot for David Morse. :) I LOVED Stand By Me, though. But I don't have a problem with Wil Wheaton. LOL I thought he was beautiful to look at in that film. There were quite a few casting faux-pas in The Stand (namely Molly Ringworm... GAH!). I thought Misery was pretty good, as was Dolores Claiborne. I mean, Kathy Bates? C'mon!

Most of SK's books are better read than filmed. They're supposed to be making a movie of Bag of Bones. I'm interested in seeing how they fuck THAT one up. I wanted to beat someone about the face over Dreamcatcher, they so screwed that one! >:(

Thanks for the tipoff on Rose Red. LOL I never went near it because I prefer to READ Stephen King.

Guess what is on Sci-Fi this afternoon?
